This year’s South by Southwest (SXSW 2015) festival event in Austin, Texas is gearing up to bring an impressive number of virtual reality sessions, and workshops from some of the industry’s top hardware companies, and gaming studios currently developing for the VR platform.

Oculus VR will be making its appearance once again at the yearly festival event and will be taking questions directly from VR fans during its ‘Explore the Future of VR’ panel session.

The ‘Explore the Future of VR with Oculus‘ will be featuring Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey, Oculus VP of Product Nate Mitchell, Oculus Hardware Engineer Ryan Brown, as well as, Playful Corp CEO/Founder Paul Bettner. The session will focus on the progress of virtual reality over the past year, the industry in general, and future VR developments.

A new Reddit thread has also been open to the fans in the VR community to submit their questions, as well as via Twitter using #OculusQA. The entire Q&A session can be seen live via SXSW’s gaming Twitch channel this Friday, March 13th, from 5:30pm to 6:15pm CT.

The SXSW 2015 event will take place the entire weekend, starting March 13th-22nd. Here is a full schedule list of sessions related to virtual reality.
