During this week’s Oculus Connect 4 developer conference, Oculus announced that it’s ready to take on the corporate world by offering a business-focused Oculus Rift bundle that is aimed at encouraging companies to embrace virtual reality technology into their everyday workflow.

Hugo Barra, VP of VR at Facebook, officially unveiled the new ‘Oculus for Business’ initiative on stage during the event’s opening keynote. “Oculus for Business is for companies who want to explore VR to create new workflows,” Barra explained, noting examples of existing partners like Audi who has been utilizing the Rift in dealerships to create virtual showrooms for customers, and Cisco, who created a VR collaboration environment on top of their Spark platform. Other partners also include global brands such as Walmart, DHL, Deloitte, and Accenture.

For businesses big or small, this represents a huge opportunity across various different industries. On its official blog, Oculus said, “Businesses of all types can use Rift to boost productivity, accelerate training, and present the otherwise impossible to their employees and customers—across industries like tourism, education, medical, construction, manufacturing, automotive, and retail.”

The new Rift business bundle is available now for companies to purchase via the official Oculus for Business website.
