At this year’s Facebook Connect, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a new feature called Oculus Move is coming to the Quest platform.

Oculus Move is essentially a fitness tracker that works at the system-level to help keep track of your daily fitness goals, like total burnt calories, and how long you have been physically active while playing your favorite VR titles. This new feature allows you to track these fitness stats across any game or app on the platform, which provides you with both real-time stats and in-game overlays so you can visually see and stay updated with your activity and performance during a VR session.

Based on the video above, all your basic fitness stats are well organized and easily accessible from a unified dashboard, which includes a dynamic bar graph, as well as a streak count indicator to help keep you motivated.

Facebook says that it will begin rolling out Oculus Move gradually to users on the Quest platform later this year.
