With the consumer version of the Oculus Rift one step closer to becoming a reality, Oculus VR continues to rapidly expand its growing presence with a newly leased office in the Seattle area, home to other industry titans currently developing for VR/AR—like Microsoft with its HoloLens, and Valve with their HTC Vive.

According to a report by the Daily Journal of Commerce, the company has signed a lease for a 51,000 square foot space at the Stadium Innovation Center in Seattle’s Sodo neighborhood. The Center is located just southwest of CenturyLink Field and Safeco Field, and strategically positions Oculus to continue growing its R&D team that is already operating within Seattle.

As we led up to E3 2015, Oculus plans to reveal more details about its highly-anticipated consumer version of the Rift. To kick things off, a special pre-E3 press conference is set to take place on June, 11th, and will be streamed live starting at 10am PT/1pm EST via the Oculus website and Twitch.
